If you have a grandparent or parent born in Ireland, or a parent who was an Irish citizen at the time of your birth even if they were not born in Ireland, you are eligible for Irish Citizenship.
To successfully apply for Irish citizenship, you must provide the required documentation to prove your claim to Ireland. This means, the civil birth certificate of the Irish citizen, marriage certificates, death certificates, and the birth and marriage certificates of those next in line.
Along with your required ancestry documentation, proper identification, proof of address, photographs, and the applicable forms will be required.
Note: If you were born outside Ireland to a parent born on the island of Ireland, you are already an Irish citizen and may apply directly for an Irish passport.
Let the experts at Dual Citizenship Team prepare your application and citizenship document portfolio for Irish citizenship.
We take pride in preparing your complete application and providing you with step-by-step guides to make sure you receive your passport!
