Canada allows for their citizens to hold citizenship of another nationality. If you were born in Canada, have a Canadian parent, have a Canadian grandparent, or married a Canadian you may qualify for Canadian citizenship.
Prove Your Ancestry
To obtain citizenship with Canada, you will be required to prove your Canadian ancestry. This would require the provincial/territorial birth certificate, naturalization certificate, Registration of Birth Abroad, and any other records required for your specific application.
You will be required to submit the applicable form, citizenship photograph, acceptable identification documents, and the required ancestry records.
